Mark Hason, MVI Founder/President, is a well-known and respected executive in the TV and music industries with an accomplished history as a music, video, and television producer for over 15 years. His production and marketing expertise has been the driving force behind a wide variety of properties for industry leaders such as MTV, NBC, Telemundo, NYC TV, Arista Records, J Records, Jive Records, and Tommy Boy Music as Creative Director/Video Commissioner. Mark has worked with Alicia Keys, hip-hop legends Run DMC and Naughty By Nature, Wyclef Jean, Daddy Yankee and Aventura. His creative vision contributed greatly to multi-platinum success of the 10 volume series "MTV Party To Go," and the genre-defining compilation "ESPN Presents: Jock Jams." He has also worked on projects for Carlos Santana, Whitney Houston, Queen Latifah, Missy Elliot, Lil Jon, and Fat Joe, among many others.

More recently Mark worked as producer and post-production supervisor for NYCTV's "New York 360º" an entertainment magazine show created for broadcast on WNBC. He was instrumental in the launch of V-Me, a national Spanish language public television network, created and distributed in cooperation with WNET in New York.

As early as 1999 Mark recognized the growing potential in the Urban Latin market and he began creating programming for this audience. He produced and helped launch the highly popular Urban Latin lifestyle show "The Roof," a daily two-hour live music and entertainment program that aired nationally on NBC's Mun2 Television, and internationally on Telemundo International. This led to his collaboration with Romeo Santos and Premium Latin Music as producer/director of a series of live concert DVDs for the Dominican super-group Aventura, culminating in the #1 Billboard charting live album "AVENTURA - SOLD OUT AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN" which featured performances by Don Omar, Wisin Y Yandel, Anthony Santos and El Torito. MVI also partnered with Reggaeton superstar Daddy Yankee to produce the genre's first ever nationally televised concert and pay-per-view event, and produced music video for Wyclef Jean featuring Tego Calderon.

Currently Mark focuses a significant part of his time on the operations of MVI Music, the MVI division dedicated to artist management and development. Through MVI Music Mark manages Bachata legends Lenny Santos and Max Santos (founding members of Aventura) and Steve Styles (former front man of Grupo Xtreme) and their new super-group VENA. As partner and co-owner of VENA, MVI Music is also the group's exclusive record label with world-wide rights including master recordings, copyrights, publishing, performance, merchandising and other ancillary rights. Mark earned both his Master's Degree and Bachelor of Arts at Columbia University, and completed coursework at the NYU Center for Digital Media, the Jazz Program at City College, and the School of Visual Arts.
